  • Sun 2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
    6:00 pm to 8:30 p.m

Summer Session Hours for IM:

  • Mon - Thu 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
  • Fri 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Who can ask questions?

This service is intended for use by UNI students, faculty, and staff and by Iowa residents. Questions from others may be answered, particularly if they relate to resources unique to Rod Library.

Who will answer my IM?

Your question will be answered by library staff members working at the reference desk. We may recommend an in-person consultation or suggest that we send your answer later via email.

Questions About Checkouts, Renewals, Fines, etc.

Contact the Circulation Desk or call (319) 273-2462 if you have questions about checking out books, renewals, fines, recalls, or similar matters.

Etiquette

Patrons are expected to conduct themselves in a courteous manner. Sessions may be terminated at the discretion of library staff members.
